On September 15th 2010, Twitter had announced in their twitter account that they had launched the new twitter. But seems like not all user get the chance for the new experience. Neither do I until 2 days ago..

According to Evan Williams, the founder of Twitter, the account selection for new twitter is random and worldwide. So for those who haven’t get selected, just be patient. Meanwhile, you can check out what the new twitter is all about..

You will find your timeline, @mentions, retweets, searches, and lists in a single – streamlined view on the left of the screen. On the right, you can see the features such as favorites, Trending Topics, your followers and whom you recently followed.

When you click a Tweet, the details pane shows information related to the tweet, depending on the Tweet’s content. You may see @replies, other Tweets by that same user, a map of where a geotagged Tweet was sent from, and also you can see the embedded photos and videos directly on Twitter.

I read on twitter that some of the users had written that the new twitter is kinda a confusing to use. For those who had the same opinion, don’t worry. You have the option to switch back to the old version of twitter.
