Facebook for BlackBerry version 1.8.0.31 Beta has been leaked. The latest official version is 1.7.0.22. There were rumors that version 1.8 was being tested in the BlackBerry Beta Zone, so guess the tester decided to leaked it.

Since this is the version in the Beta Zone, there are steps that need to go through to be able to run it in your device. Make sure you follow all these steps below :

1. Make sure you have the latest official version of Facebook for Blackberry installed.
2. Download the Facebook 1.8.0.31 Beta application
3. When the download is finished and you are prompted to reboot, DON’T!
4. Press the red call button to escape to the homescreen.
5. Go to your Facebook application icon and click it.
6. Accept the terms and go into the application.
7. Once the application is running, open the menu and select options then logout.
8. Re-run the application and input your login credentials to access Facebook.
9. Reboot your BlackBerry after the Facebook application fully loads.
10. Once your BlackBerry is up and running, access the Facebook application again. It should now be version 1.8.0.31
