Phonofone II

Posted by Dunn on October 3, 2008 – 11:24 am -

This retro style of iPod dock needs no battery, draws no main power, but still manages to play music from iPod or any MP3 player. In the same way as the old gramophones worked, the Phonofone II takes the tiny vibrations of your earphones and channels them through its ceramic horn into the room. Clever and cool. The price is US$500 via Charles & Marie.

Old-fashioned, classic, might be a little out-of-style but worth purchasing – a product of innovation… It looks interesting with it’s features almost unsuggestive of it’s design. But it is definitely a must-have!
