Find Out If Your Email Has Been Read

No more guessing “has he or she read my email yet?” Now you can find out when your email has been read by the recipient using a simple email tracking system.

SpyPig will send you a notification email as soon as the recipient opens and reads your email. The system is very easy to use, and it’s free. You can use it as often as you like. And it works with all email programs such as Outlook, Yahoo Mail, Gmail, Hotmail, AOL Mail and many others. And best of all, no spam, no virus, no adware, no spyware.

No download necessary. All you have to do is go to the site, enter your email address, recipient’s name and the message title, select the tracking image and embed the tracking image to your email. You can also choose the blank image if you don’t want the recipient to know about it.

SpyPig works by using a tracking image whose reference to its location on their server which is embedded in your HTML email message. When the recipient opens your email, the tracking image will be automatically downloaded from their server, triggering the email opened alert system. That’s why both of the sender and the recipient must use an HTML formatted email, not a plain-text or rich-text formatted email.

For your Outlook: i thought that there’s a standard feature which you can turn on and which notifies you if someone had opened/read your email.

@ BioTeck: You can turn it on in Outlook yes, but then the recipient will have to confirm it.
